Privacy Policy

EverydaySLP ("we," "us") is operated by Robert, a licensed speech-language pathologist, at everydayslp.org. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or request our free guide, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you request the free guide or sign up for emails, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your first name and how you heard about us.
If you request the guide through a form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends us the name and email address you submitted through that form.
When you reply to one of our emails, we receive whatever you choose to write. You do not need to share health information with us. If you do, we treat it as confidential and use it only to respond to you.
When you book a call, scheduling is handled by Calendly, which collects the information you enter on their form under their own privacy policy.
When you visit the site, we automatically collect standard technical information: pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, referring website, and campaign tags in the link you clicked.
When we send you email, we record whether the email was opened and which links were clicked.
How we use it
We use your information to send you the guide you requested, to send a short series of follow-up emails about the same topic, to reply when you write to us, to understand which pages and videos bring people to the site, and to improve the site and the guide. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf.
Advertising
We use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to this site and to show ads to people who have visited it. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you under its own privacy policy. You can control how Meta uses your data for ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings.
Service providers
Your information is stored and processed by the following companies, each under its own privacy policy: Lovable and Supabase (website hosting and database, servers in the United States), Google (email sending through Gmail, and Google Search Console for search analytics), Meta Platforms (advertising measurement and lead forms), Calendly (appointment scheduling), and YouTube (embedded videos, which may set cookies when played).
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Using it stops all further emails immediately.
To disable our own website analytics for your browser, visit everydayslp.org/notrack.
To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, email robert@everydayslp.org. We will respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep your email address and related records for as long as you remain subscribed and for up to two years after you unsubscribe, so we can honor your request not to be contacted again. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.
This is not medical care
EverydaySLP provides education. Requesting the guide, receiving our emails, or booking a call does not create a patient relationship, and the information you share with us is not part of a medical record. If you need clinical evaluation or treatment, please contact a speech-language pathologist or physician in person.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
California residents
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email robert@everydayslp.org.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
